Grid Builders #1 + #2 serves as documentation of student work focusing on the integration of patterning and letterform generation. Students were presented with 2 specific shape libraries which they were to utilize in exploring patterning and letterform development. This book documents 84 typography experiments collected by assistant professor Mykola Haleta and graphic media and design student Dan Chamberlin from a Fall 2017 Typography class at Alfred State, NY.
